Blackstone River Theatre Summer Solstice Festival

The 9th Annual Blackstone River Theatre Summer Solstice Festival offers four stages of entertainment – three for music and one for dance as well as a sessions tent and a children’s activity area. The family-friendly festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 15, 2019, and features Celtic and world music, dance, and culture along with 40 craft and food vendors.

Blackstone River Theatre (BRT) is a cultural arts center where the music, dance, and folk art traditions of Blackstone River Valley come to life. The theatre’s core mission is preserve and support diverse traditions of music, dance, and visual arts with an emphasis on those groups settled in the Blackstone River Valley. The theatre also rents out space for private, corporate, and non-profit functions.

Enjoy the experience of the Blackstone River Theatre Summer Solstice Festival live at Diamond Hill Park in Cumberland. Enjoy performances from artists including Atwater-Donnelly Trio, The Hanneke Cassel Band, Kevin Crawford, Cillian Vallely & Patrick Doocey (from the group Lunasa), the Eastern Medicine Singers, Bonnie Milner, Dan Milner, Roscommon Soles featuring Kevin Doyle with Sheila Falls, Josh Kane, Owen Marshall, Torrin Ryan, and The Vox Hunters.
